December Happenings

The Tampa Tanner party was cancelled this month due to Cookie and I being ill. I was sick for the first few weeks of December. I am good all year, but it seems for the last two years, I've been sick around Christmas. This time Thomas grounded me to bed rest for four days. For those who don't know me to well, it was torture. The first day was great relaxing, reading, and watching movies on my computer, but the days following not so fun. I truly did not feel well, it's just I felt like I should be up doing things.  Since, I got so behind, I was frantically running to get my kids and grandkids gifts mailed the Friday before Christmas. They did get there on time, which thrilled me. A few days prior to Christmas, I had Cookie & Thomas, and their son over for dinner. We also exchanged gifts. My daughter calls them her Aunt and Uncle. Thomas also helps my daughter with Math, so she bought him a few thank you gifts. I did end up having a good Christmas despite most of my family not here, I just enjoyed the ones who were here.

I was hoping to have one more GG spanking before the end of the year, but it doesn't look like that will happen. Unfortunately, I have a debt to pay when I do see Thomas again. That will be towards the end of January. The good news... Luke is coming home for three weeks! I have not seen him since July. I am very excited for our time together. Although, it's weird when they are gone for so long, it's an adjustment having them back. I'm sure those that have hubby's that travel extended periods of time understand. I do have lots of things planned, and he will have me cooking up a storm with all his favorite meals. My daughter starts her gymnastic season, and is excited he will be here to see two of her meets. After her season we will be traveling to see Luke for ten days. It will be fun visting a foreign country.

I haven't been writing much. I seemed to have lost my mojo. I'm hoping it comes back soon. Stories used to just come to me, and now nothing. It's kind of sad. I'm going to try participating in Flash Fiction Friday again after Luke leaves to see if I can't stir something up. Even just blogging...I'm at a loss for words. Hopefully, in these next few weeks with Luke coming I will have some things to share.
